In Morgantown for the summer and looking to volunteer? The Center for Civic Engagement can help! Volunteers are needed for these community needs:

Choosy Kids Camp
Volunteers are needed to help with Camp Choosy this summer between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Volunteer times are flexible and can be worked to accommodate schedules.

American Red Cross
Volunteers are needed to help enter Course Evaluation data into a national database. We are estimating that with two volunteers we could get all of the data entry completed in approx. 40 hours. Must be able to do basic computer functions.

PACE-TEC
Volunteer needed to serve as receptionist M-F between 11:00AM – 2:00PM.

Animal Friends
Animal Shelter is in need of volunteer to clean animal spaces, landscaping, demolition, and construction of low cost spay neuter clinic for the poor.
Thrift Shop help needed T, Th., Fri., Sat. to clean and price items for display, assist during shop hours.

In Touch and Concerned
Volunteers are needed for general office help, such as filing papers, answering phones, telephone reassurance calls, and updating files.

Friends of Decker’s Creek
Volunteers are needed to assist with their newsletter mailing.

Morning Glory Ministries
Volunteers are needed to assist with summer cleaning and office work. Volunteers will be rearranging office furniture, doing light cleaning, yard work, and assisting with various tasks.

Arthurdale Heritage Museum
Volunteers are needed to assist with general office help and service as volunteer tour guides for the museum. Volunteers are needed on Saturday and Sundays from 12:00-4:00 p.m.

Morgantown Fun Factory
Volunteers are needed to assist with summer cleaning. Volunteers will be helping to clean the various play areas and working to staff the areas on weekdays.

Stepping Stones
Volunteers are needed to assist with Summer Camp, participate in the Miracle League Baseball Buddies programs (Friday and Saturday), general office help, and yard work around complex.

Big Brothers Big Sisters
Volunteers are needed for general office assistance. Volunteers will be assisting with copying and preparing mailings and making phone calls.

Rock Forge Neighborhood House
Volunteers are needed for the Summer Day Camp. Volunteers would be assisting with various activities and events during the camps.

Evergreen Assisted Living
Volunteers are needed to assist with the programming for residents of the Evergreen Assisted Living Facility. Volunteers are especially needed for Saturday programming.
