Make a Difference Day is held every fall in October. This year, over 300 volunteers gave their time to help build a better community at 15 projects around Monongalia and Preston counties.

The CCE joined with Arnold Hall to sponsor a Vegas themed Community Picnic. During the picnic, students browsed through local agencies and were treated to free hot dogs/drinks and karaoke.

The CCE joined with President and Mrs. Garrison to sponsor a Community Open House as part of Inauguration Week. The event was held at Blaney House on October 21, 2007.

The first annual Community Partner Picnic was held at Dorsey's Knob Pavillion on August 20, 2009.

The Student Service Conference is an annual gathering of young people from across West Virginia. The 2007 Conference took place Feb. 2-4, 2007 at the Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown.
