The Mountaineer Volunteer Program (MVP) is the most basic and immediate way for students to get involved in our community. The CCE works with community agencies to catalog and supply volunteers so that students have a one-stop center where they can provide essential needs to our community, learn a valuable sense of self-worth, and learn the importance of being civic minded.

Mandatory Service Students: WVU students who have been assigned community service through the Office of Student Judicial Affairs. These students provide valuable service to the community by participating in events, cleaning, painting, planting, and organizing.

Volunteer Service Students: WVU students who choose community service opportunities through the CCE in order to enhance their collegiate learning experience, meet departmental admissions requirements, connect with a non-profit partner long-term, or build valuable resume experience.

Students who provide community service through the CCE will be automatically registered in the Online Hours Submission in order to be eligible for awards, hour verification, and important notifications of upcoming events.
