| As a graduate student, Carissa is pursuing her Masters Degree in Public Administration. In May, Carissa graduated Magna Cum Laude for the P.I. Reed School of Journalism with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, Public Relations and a minor in Communication Studies.
As the Graduate Assistant for the GOLD program, Carissa will be assisting in the placement of students in partnerships, teaching a Civic Engagement U101, and working with the Program Coordinator to maintain a strong academic connection to service projects. Carissa worked at WVU as the treasurer and historian for the Residence Hall Association and is currently the Chief-of-Staff for the Mountaineer Maniacs. Carissa is looking forward to continue working with students who are excited and ready to get involved in their community! |
